This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or use our coaching services. It applies to all users regardless of where they are located in the United States. By using our site you agree to the terms of this policy.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, and IP address when you contact us or sign up for coaching
  • Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details
  • Health and fitness data — training history, race results, current fitness level, physical condition, and goals provided during onboarding and coaching. This is considered sensitive personal information
  • Commercial information — coaching subscription and purchase history
  • Communications — messages between you and your coach through Final Surge
  • Internet activity — browsing behavior on letstango.run, device type, and pages visited

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, manage, and improve our coaching services
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Deliver personalized training plans and facilitate coach communication
  • Respond to your questions and support requests
  • Improve our website and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

We use your health and fitness data solely to provide personalized coaching services. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

Each of these service providers is contractually obligated to use your information only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable law.

Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We only share your data with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide our coaching services, or when required by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we share it with
  • Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information so this right does not currently apply. If this changes we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — request that we limit our use of your sensitive personal information (including health and fitness data) to what is necessary to provide our services
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. You will receive the same quality of service regardless of whether you make a privacy request
  • Right to Data Portability — request a copy of your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format where technically feasible

These rights apply to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), and other states with applicable privacy laws. Residents of other states may have similar rights under state law. We honor these requests regardless of your state of residence.

How to Submit a Privacy Request

Please include "Privacy Request" in the subject line and specify which right you are exercising. We will verify your identity before processing your request. California residents will receive a response within 45 days as required by law. All other residents will receive a response within 30 days. If we need additional time we will notify you within the initial response period.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's authorization before processing the request.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of our site may not function properly if you do. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your coaching subscription is active and for up to 3 years afterward for legitimate business and legal purposes. Health and fitness data is retained only as long as necessary to provide coaching services unless you request earlier deletion. Training data stored in Final Surge is subject to Final Surge's own retention policies.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information please contact us at hello@letstango.run and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Payment information is encrypted and processed by Stripe using industry-standard security protocols. However no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

California Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about how we disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will update the date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email of any material changes. Continued use of our site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
